Gratitude is a practice in itself. How would you like to explore being grateful? Practicing gratitude can be very positive for our lives. It has far-reaching effects, from improving our mental health to boosting our relationships with others.
In this retreat we practice how to be grateful for the life that we have right now – whatever is here.
We combine theory and meditation practice to cultivate gratitude in our daily lives.
During this retreat we will focus on:
- Recognising and waking up to the good things we have received
- Practicing saying ‘thank you’ to the gifts we have received from other people and the world around us and our interconnectedness and dependency we have with people and places in our lives.
- Being grateful for everything that is here, including the challenges in our lives, independent of our liking or disliking them.

- Daily guided mindful meditation sessions by Gerry, including a meditation on the famous Death Island (including boat transfer), a stunning white sand bank in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
- Guided sunrise meditation at the Red Dunes in Vilanculos
- Canoe safari on the Govuro river, a magnificent inland delta with natural waterways made by hippos
- 2 spa treatments of your choice
- Mindful eating dinner in a local restaurant in Vilanculos
- Cultural immersion visiting the local market, discovering local life and culture.
What’s included if you choose to do your personal retreat online at home?
Your online retreat is totally adaptable and depends on how much time you have available. Weekends will work. Please contact me to discuss your own personal retreat
